Pros
The benefits package is great. Good healthcare, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement, family leave, PTO and vacation. Great work-life balance.
Cons
Upward mobility is often non-existent and not always related to performance. Raises are supposedly linked to performance, but they also depend on where you are in the current pay scale so you could work really hard and get a miniscule raise.
