      Pros

      Open playground approach - you make most of the decisions, it's okay if you make a mistake as long as you learn from it; you can implement any ideas you may have in any area and innovation and initiative is very well awarded.

      Cons

      Since it's run by students sometimes it lacks formal regulations and hierarchy is not respected so conflicts arise often.

      Pros

      Growth opportunities, welcoming international environment and strong student spirit, with many travel opportunities. If you seek opportunities, you can get back from ESTIEM much more than you put in.

      Cons

      Year in the Board can be veery exhausting, sometimes leading to burnout, but worth it. Volunteering, but costs reimbursed for Board members (to a certain degree).
