A bunch of qualified people were hired: software engineers, seniors engineers, testers and architects for a challenging and promising project. The promising project started and was turned into a successful PoC that made the client happy. Because of this success even more software engineers, seniors engineers, testers and architects were hired to transform the PoC into a very valuable project. But because the very valuable project went off before even started to take off all the software engineers, seniors engineers, testers and architects were laid off including. Funny enough there even more engineers to come that didn't even got to know their colleagues since they were in the notice period. And all these happened before the pandemic to not blame COVID
