Pros

Not sure there’s any. I guess it’s an average “big” company to work for?

Cons

Micromanagement, low salaries and bullying within the work place. Worst experience.

ERDEM Response

We have put a lot of HR specific actions in to place over the last 8 months and I am pleased to say that our staff turnover rates have decreased overall. Workloads have increased however we we have recruited 13 new roles over the last 4 months to provide our busiest departments with valued support. We have recruited an HR Executive. Along with implementing an employee committee to enable our employees to share ideas and to provide suggestions. As a result, we have implemented a monthly social evening, our charity day which is a fantastic opportunity for employees to meet cross functionally . We have also invested in training and wellbeing remains at the top of our people agenda. Mental Health First Aiders will be trained within the business. Our aim is to create an environment where people feel empowered, supported and they can enjoy. I am so sorry you feel this was not the case for you. However we have made numerous steps forward with our people agenda over the last few months and have much more planned in the pipeline.

Pros

The owner and founder is very active and motivating. The company has a Summer party and a Christmas party. Bonuses early basis. No need to clock in, clock out (but expect to work overtime and not get paid), instead several schemes of day in lieu, August Fridays afternoons off. Cycling schemes. 4% match of private pension payment.

Cons

Communication among departments is a con. Lower salaries compared to what the market offers. Newcomers and starters are almost every week, with a high rate of employee turnover. The logistics department has to pack, unpack, load, unload goods and help with manual work. There is no tech/it department to deal with data and business systems; each department has its own procedures and way of working. Not much space in the HQ/Studio. Lack of organisational culture.
