Pros

Great colleagues, team leaders and the opportunity to do some charitable work / raise money for good causes. Occasionally interesting work. I miss the staff.

Cons

Not one opportunity for career progression in Wales the entire time I worked at the company. You will develop depression, mental health issues, learned helplessness, be told that you are lucky to have this living wage paying job, be given no choice of relocating to another office when yours closes. Understaffed and overworked. Nearly impossible to book holidays for the summer or Christmas. If you speak to the person next to you a manager will want to know why. All sticks no carrots.

Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
