Pros

It's been over a year now and Ecova is shining bright still. I can speak for the utility side in Portland and say that from the management level down there are ample opportunities and flexibility for you to grow. The tools and support are available as well. -matching Roth 401k! -in house coffee from local roasters! -Bonus/merit program based on company profitability -Excellent work life balance -ability to work from home occasionally -team events and happy hours draw teams closer -opportunities with different projects/clients The pay isn't bad, it's not the best either. It's up to you what is important but I feel like Ecova will support you and train you and if you work hard, the pay will follow.

Cons

-Since Engie acquired Ecova there has been some shifting and restructuring but with minimal layoffs. Still early to see full effects.

Pros

The work can be challenging but also fulfilling at the same time and many opportunities and resources to learn. The pay and benefits are a little above average.

Cons

The culture has adversely changed where it used to be cooperative but now it is more cut-throat and many things are not communicated properly and an imbalance of responsibility and accountability which is causing conflict. There are many "exceptions".
