They reviewed and responded to my application very quickly. After the orientation/registration meeting, I began working within days. If you're looking for a flexible schedule, I highly recommend.

One thing that scared me initially was the up-front costs of fingerprinting, background check, licensing, etc. Thankfully, EMS will help with up-front costs and then deduct money from later paychecks.

Not enough hours for classified work (clerical, regular class assisting). Most of the work in the Classified category will be SPED or Crossing Guard. If working in SPED classes, the pay should increase as there is a bigger need and risk in this program.
