Compensation & equity issues: Salaries (especially for higher levels) are often perceived as below market, especially given the workload and responsibilities. Raises/promotions sometimes seem slow, and bonus or equity isn’t always clearly aligned with output.
Management / structure issues: Some ambiguity in roles, inconsistent communication from senior management, and lack of decisiveness. The organizational structure can feel rigid or bureaucratic in parts, which makes it harder to move quickly.
Unclear or limited upward mobility: While growth is possible, in practice it seems dependent on openings, visibility, or connections rather than a clear, standardized path. Sometimes people take on more scope without a commensurate title or compensation change.
