Pros

You will learn a lot in the short time you will most likely stay. Good place to use as a stepping stone to get your skills up and move onto somewhere else.

Cons

Don't plan of having a life outside of this place if you work here. There is no work/life balance at all. Middle/ Upper management is bottom line focused, and does not seem to care about employee morale.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your insight. We would like to take this opportunity to highlight some of the recent changes and benefits that we have been making for our employees: We have an extensive manager training program which incorporates the Harvard Manage Mentor series to assist our managers to become the most effective leaders and mentors within the industry; We have invested in a comprehensive technical training solution which we will be expanding to include professional soft-skills development and career pathing this fall; We just concluded a month long walking contest for all US employees where each employee was eligible for a free Fit Bit and incentives were provided throughout the wellness initiative to encourage our employees to be healthy. Our employees do work hard and we are making efforts to assist and balance their career and work-life on a daily basis. Many of our employees recognize the value of their hard work and dedication, our retention rate is quite high, and the street-value after working at ECI incrementally increases extensively over time. Once again, thank you for your feedback. ECI Management

Pros

ECI used to be a good company to work for. Still some talented, smart people, but many, if not all have left. The new good people are pushed out quickly if they don’t bend a knee.

Cons

There are constant cuts and layoffs every year and there is terrible leadership from a team with little experience in actually running a business. Most diversity in the upper ranks has disappeared over the last few years and is a particularly prevalent problem with women leadership who all seem to get boxed out over time. In my tenure, I have watched women leaders get either cut or replaced with men from the C-suite down through upper management. ECI is very clearly moving towards a male dominated leadership team.
