Pros
Family feel, given a great deal of responsibility, expected to do what was asked of me, ability to take on other tasks if I wanted to. I have met amazing people - astronauts, innovators, government officials, military leaders. Loved being surrounded by aviation and the opportunities that provided. I'm only leaving to retire.
Cons
To be honest, you don't really have a summer. AirVenture preparation and execution take up June and July. The upside is that you meet fascinating people and see amazing aircraft during that time
