Alot of good people work in the labs, but you probably wont know them for that long.
Cons
Sales and executive management does not know the difference between factory work and operating an analytical laboratory. Analysts and lab supervisors are pushed to work like a high school graduate on a manufacturing line. Speaking up about issues is more likely to lead an employee to be an outcast than to a positive change, middle management seems to be pushed to complete the often illogical snap decisions of the executive team. The HR posting from the Feb 25 review is laughable. There is almost no vision of the future, an impossible dream of tens of millions of year over year growth is regurgitated at the rare company wide meeting. The benefits are poor. The work conditions are poor. The resources given to the lab are poor. The pay is poor. Turnover is high.
