Pros
It's a market that will succeed in this area no matter how badly it is managed. Everybody needs a truck in Durango.
Cons
They tell you in your interview that "it's like running your own business" and you will get out of it what you put in. But once you start, they demand you be there from 7A to AT LEAST 7 PM, 6 days a week and dictate every second of your day with menial labor (lot work, shuttling cars, shovelling snow, taking hundreds of photos for the website, moving more cars, running paperwork between buildings) in the hot sun while 2 or 3 of their favorites sit inside in the A/C actually making deals and taking in commissions. They tell their customers that it's a "no pressure" sales environment but verbally abuse the sales staff for not converting people from wanting used to brand new. The verbal abuse stories are true, and sexual harassment if you are a female. Everyone is/has/was/is hooking up with each other and if you're not interested in that culture, you're ostracized and bullied. Plenty of mind games going on, e.g. calling you into the managers office to make you pick up a piece of paper off his floor. Name-calling. Ableism. Mysogyny. There's a reason they're "always hiring."
