Pros

The team is small enough that you are heard, and big/strong enough to get things done. This is great on a personal level, of feeling valuable in the team, but also allows you to see really great results being passed on to the customers who count on us. As Durable, there are several groups of teams, who all collaborate well with together, even when those team members are in different time zones. As with all startups, things move quickly, which is exciting! You have to embrace this and use it your advantage, to get involved with a lot of parts of the business that you may otherwise feel is not in your skillset.

Cons

None that can come to mind, will be sure to come back should that change!

Pros

Durable went through a big cultural change over the past year which well positioned it to be one of the most exciting companies out there. We're now an AI-first startup with state-of-the-art products in the works shipped within weeks. The team is small, senior, and motivated! Everyone is an owner and heard. If you love coming up with new ideas, building pocs, and shipping in a fast-paced manner, this is the place to be. From an engineering pov, we're up to date with the latest tech. It's quite fun to not be constrained by legacy tech. The compensation and benefits are excellent and among the best.

Cons

- Very fast paced with lots of ownership which is typical in a startup. This can feel overwhelming for those who don't expect it or are not used to it. - Things can change a lot within a short timeframe.

Pros

Working at Durable is unlike anywhere else I’ve been. It is an AI-first culture that is reshaping how teams operate and what individuals are capable of. You’re encouraged to challenge traditional ways of working and help build a future-focused company. What stands out most is the vision. We’re not just iterating. We’re creating something new. That means real freedom to explore ideas, stretch into new responsibilities, and grow alongside the company. The product is amazing. Backed by incredible product, dev, and customer teams that deliver fast and solve problems creatively. Everyone is deeply committed to building something impactful and it shows in the quality and pace of the work. The team culture is another massive plus. It’s a small, seriously talented group of people doing big, meaningful things. And they do it without ego. Collaboration is real, and support is constant. The benefits are excellent. Competitive salary, generous vacation, and a real respect for work-life balance. Personal time is actually respected, which makes a big difference in a startup environment.

Cons

Nothing unexpected for a fast-moving, high-growth startup. It’s a place with high standards and a lot of hustle. Not the right fit if you’re looking for a slow pace or just want to coast. There are occasional shifts in plans or targets as the company adapts to industry changes. But that agility keeps things exciting. Some operational pieces are still being ironed out. It’s not perfectly oiled yet. But the company is hiring thoughtfully and leveling up the team in a strong, intentional way.
