- My biggest peeve is promotions/raises. They went from 2 promotion cycles a year to 1, so you have to wait an entire year to MAYBE get a promotion/raise. And despite the massive inflation spikes, not a peep about cost of living adjustments. When asked about COL adjustments during a check-in, Cisco leadership skirted the question and never really answered it. There are people struggling to afford to live off of outdated salaries. If you make enough noise, they might give you a small RSU "reward" which means nothing when you're trying to pay your bills.
- Cisco has taken hold of Duo for the most part. It still felt like a startup for a while after the acquisition, but that culture is long gone. Some teams have been integrated into Cisco while others haven't quite as much and it's a weird feeling to know there's a whole other world our there that we don't really have any insight into.
- Cisco seems to nab top performers from Duo and squeezes them dry. I don't think I've seen a single person stay with Cisco for more than a year after moving over from Duo.
