Pros

- Great colleagues - Udemy access - Flexible working - Good work/life balance

Cons

- Will throw you onto any project regardless of applicable skills with minimal support. - Bizarre emphasis/prioritisation of internal "work" over billable client project performance when conducting performance reviews. - Poor communication from senior management - Senior management poor all round - focused on reckless growth and led to massive over-inflation of consultant workforce, leading to subsequent rounds of redundancies. - Contracts are extremely lopsided - e.g. 4 weeks notice for them, 3 months for you - Compensation/benefits are average to poor and non-guaranteed - numerous employees have not had a pay review in nearly 2 years.

Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased to hear that you appreciate the flexibility, work/life balance, Udemy access, and the supportive colleagues at our company. We acknowledge your concerns about project assignments, performance reviews, communication from senior management, and compensation. When it comes to promotions and performance reviews, we take into account, delivery, technical expertise, and the right technical and softer skills. In April 2024 we brought in a more simple and transparent performance review process. This process has had positive feedback from across the business. In regards to redundancies, this was something that the we did not wish to do, however, due to market conditions in 2023 we had to undertake the difficult decision to reduce our headcount. We value all feedback as it helps us make necessary changes. If you’re willing, we’d like to discuss your concerns further. Please reach out to our HR team to arrange a conversation.

Pros

I work with some great people and I like the project I'm working on right now.

Cons

No bonus (again) but big commissions for the sales team and nothing for the rest of the company - the company seems to forget we are all involved in winning a deal, and quite often the customer is buying us as individuals. Recent senior leadership changes have turned a poor culture toxic. It's not the company it used to be and it's getting worse. Avoid.

Pros

Some decent intelligent people about who are bulldozed by dysfunctional practices

Cons

Micromanagement is the only type of management you will get, do not expect any sort of pastoral care You will get burnt out due to the lack of project governance and you will be expected to conduct the project management role while they enjoy "the culture crew" Their culture drive is due to very poor results and inability to retain top talent, why you may ask? Simply put you will be earning someone else's salary to give them an excellent work life balance that must be respected at all times however when yours comes into question and no working excessive hours, they will get rid of you or your progression will halt completely. Salaries are not market competitive either and the process to get bonuses, salary increases or promotions is farcical. They are truly lost and just a matter of time before it folds or is consumed by a larger consultancy For a data consultancy they are clearly behind the times and cannot retain the new talent Bogged down by useless documentation that is glanced at and then discarded

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear that aspects of your time with us didn’t meet your expectations. Feedback like yours is incredibly important as it helps us reflect, learn, and grow. We are actively working to strengthen management support across the business, including clearer roles such as People Coaches and Practice Leads, as well as consistent guidance from project leads. We know how vital it is to feel supported in your day to day work. Culture is something we care deeply about. The Culture Crew was created to help foster a positive, inclusive environment, and we believe everyone plays a role in shaping the workplace we all want to be part of. We also recognise that work life balance is essential. While some projects may require more time in certain periods, we are committed to ensuring this isn’t the norm and are working closely with teams to manage workloads sustainably. Our approach to salaries, promotions, and performance management is under regular review to ensure fairness and transparency. We are always looking for ways to improve and evolve these processes. If you're open to continuing the conversation, we would really appreciate the opportunity to learn more.
