Pros
DUCK was one of the most enjoyable studios to work for. An old school mom and pop shop that was founded in the 70s and has lasted all these years despite the multitude of closings in L.A. The owners were genuinely nice people and they created a very relaxed, family atmosphere at their company. Artists are paid on time, and treated with respect.
Cons
The studio itself is not much to look at. Kind of a hodgepodge of decor, and a very homey feel unlike the slick look of most modern post facilities. Hours can be sometimes long but that's typical of this industry. Sometimes there is a lack of supervision and artists are left to figure things out for themselves. Definitely more of a place for self-starters and self-motivated types-- people that can figure things out own their own and wear multiple hats.
