Pros

The hours were manageable and the coworkers were semi friendly.

Cons

The water has high particulate matter and who knows what is in there. We have to use a reverse osmosis machine constantly. Our water even comes out of the faucet black sometimes (no kidding). Not only is the water quality awful, but the workers are just as bad. They did not show up as planned yesterday even though they told us that our water would be turned off for 8 hours. We had made several preparations for this intended outage such as saving up water to flush toilets, saving up water to drink, canceling a gathering at our house. Today, they showed up and said they would turn off our water again for another 8 hours on Tuesday. Terrible preparation on their part, which comes as no surprise since this business places no value in their customers.

Pros

The Dublin San Ramon Service District and the Union have negotiated good health care benefits, vacation, and pension.( I have nothing more to say, so I am fulfilling the 20 word minimum.)

Cons

This review is for my experience on the Plant side of facility: This is a Good Ol’ Boys club, if you aren’t at the top or if you don’t know someone who has influence, you will be walked on. Also, management discriminates. DSRSD says that safety is important to them but when it comes down to it, they just care that you have signed all the safety training paperwork to cover themselves legally. They say that you are protected when complaining about safety issues, but I wasn’t. If I were to do it all again, I would have called OSHA directly.
