Cons
This review is not just about a specific person or just management issues but instead it is about the entirety of the company as a whole. 1. Management of teams/projects is absolutely pathetic. Not sure what the project management in DT is actually doing. Instead of making developers lives easier, they are making it more difficult by providing false expectations to the client. 2. Many managers within engineering and business are not even taking any initiative towards the same goal, which is to provide the best solution to the client. Instead, there is continuous pointing of fingers to put blame on others. No collaboration. 3. Many team lead/managers are not able to even do their bare minimum of tasks and instead keep piling work onto their subordinates. Huge lack of leadership and taking of responsibility. 4. CTO is absolutely clueless in the tech domain and does not have the necessary skills to back himself up. Only a yapper. 5. Salaries are at an all time low. No increments. Nothing. No opportunity for growth in skills. Many developers are going above and beyond but still getting 4-figure salaries and some even have families. 6. Zero structure within the company, someone senior says something and then someone else says something and it is a total mess. Lack of clarity leading to delayed project timelines and not enough resource allocation. 7. Heavy outsourcing which leads to subpar quality in solutions. 8. Huge disparity in treatment with women versus men, primarily in the engineering department. Talking down to people and name calling to those who do not know something, especially if the person is a woman.
