So lucky to be working here! - Senior Product Designer Dreamten Employee Review

I joined Dreamten on January 2020 and am currently working there as one of the Senior Product Designers. When I joined, our team consisted of only a few members. Since then we have grown so much. Both by the number of team members and also grown in our skills together as a team. There's never a lack of really interesting projects to work on, either. We always get to collaborate on different projects that can give us new learning experiences as well as new perspectives in solving design problems. We are a very diverse team. Dreamten is based in Raleigh, NC, USA. But some of us, like myself, are from Sri Lanka and others are working all the way from Ukraine and also from different states of the USA as well. Communication between the design managers and the design team has always been superb. I know that for a fact because I work 100% remotely from Sri Lanka and it has been such an easy experience working all these years on really complex projects, without any setbacks. They really appreciate your efforts, and your time and never pressure you into joining client calls or work activities outside of your normal work hours. If anything, Philip (our amazing Dreamten Founder) would chase us away if we stayed online after hours for company work. I have always felt that my teammates at Dreamten are the best people I have worked with in my entire career as a designer. We are always looking forward to learning from each other and growing together. From day 1 I have felt that I am considered an important part of the team and have always been treated with respect and kindness. While the majority of design agencies would only provide you with a common career path where you start as a designer and ends up as a Manager, Dreamten consciously makes an effort to recognize the talent within the team that prefers to further their career as a designer rather than switching to a managerial position. This is something I really appreciate because that's the career path I have always imagined for myself and because of their active effort to help us get there, it is going to help me be the best version of myself as a designer. Whenever I get to write a review about Dreamten, I feel like my words just don’t do enough justice to how really amazing it is to actually work here. I always consider myself super lucky to be hired to be a part of this amazing team consisting of some of the best and most talented people in the design industry. Outside of work life, I have been able to achieve so many of my personal goals, thanks to working at Dreamten, because of the great pay they offer. I am and I always will be thankful to Philip (did I say, the best boss I have ever worked with?) for inspiring us to be the best versions of ourselves, and for being the kindest, most considerate leader.
