Pros

Young professionals are the majority, which can be fun, but the place is super cliquey.

Cons

There's a lot of office drama, politics, etc. It isn't good if you want to avoid that. They keep talking about how they believe in culture and employees etc. but while they say that stuff, they don't actually practice it. This is especially from the senior management team. Below-average wages (at least in my department). They fire people on the fly; if you say something that may, at some point, rub senior management the wrong way (even if it's a professional opinion etc) you will get fired. I have witnessed someone get fired literally for telling a senior management person how they think their department could be improved. The senior management individual did not like how this employee came off in their very brief (I was there) interaction. She fired her the next day.

Pros

Navigating the application and recruiting process with HR was great, interviewing with several stages of managers and execs was a pleasure. Since getting started, have always felt very welcome and provided with all the resources and training I think I need. It's appreciated that Executives personally introduce themselves and get to know you, let you know you are a part of the team and that they are available as a resource. Very interesting company involved around the continent in some pretty exciting projects.

Cons

Was some confusion and conflicting info around in-office vs hybrid/WFH situation. But expect this to be resolved with conversation and compromise.

Pros

- 95% of the people are fantastic -open workplace culture, overall relaxed environment but hard-working -the company has a great future and is changing the city

Cons

- you pay is likely a bit under market rate, try to negotiate salary before you start, otherwise you won't be getting more once you're in - CEO has an inner circle of 5-10 key players, if you are one of them life is demanding but the pay is fantastic. If you work for one of these people your life could be very difficult. A fair amount of nepotism but it's a smaller company and not totally surprising.
