Pros
Great experience gained from working at different schools and environments teaching all age ranges as well as levels. Good for newcomers to Hong Kong and to teaching. Overall, the company's mission statement is admirable, respectable and ambitious. Once tried hard to distinguish itself as a unique and different company in a very high-pressure, rigid and deeply flawed education system.
Cons
Being overworked is a regular occurrence. Hectic time schedules as well as unreasonable expectations. Employees are often left detached and stuck at certain positions. As for the company itself, it repeatedly stretches itself thin when it comes to its capabilities, resources, staff and employees. Taking on too many responsibilities without the means to meet the need. Therefore employee turn-over is very high, job satisfaction is low and employees leave the company burnt out at the end of their contract if they even make it until there.
