Pros

Some of the consulting staff are very good and the customers do not see the internal problems- The delivery staff believe in the service and work around the delivery restriction that the management put on them - Kind of crazy but they do it - on their own time!

Cons

The senior management treats employees with no respect. Worked here since 2000 and it is not the same company it was then - They have fired so many talented smart people - it is internally focused - they do not deliver what is sold - The President told the North American Sales group on recent conference call "you are the worst performing sales team in the industry" - Great way to motivate your sales team - A sales team that is one fifth the size it was 4 years ago.... Lost more big customers in the last year than signed up - and they don't know it - We are indentured servents !!

Pros

working as a consultant afforded more free time than normal, training in interviewing styles, resume writing etc and the chance to do presentations.

Cons

Lack of standardized training of any sort; poor communication from management who normally are using 3-5 month old data to base their decisions on your performance. Everything was done on the cheap and they don't really train you if you haven't done this before, they kind of show you basics, then let you wing it on your own, but telling the customer (and telling you to tell the customer) that they are providing very experienced consultants with years of experience. They also want you to have 80% client facing time, which is impossible when the programs are ending, so it was told to me by management to simply "fudge" the time you met with clients, or just add entries to the system to make it seem like you are meeting with clients more than you are.
