Pros
When I worked there the employees all cared about each other.
Cons
Management (owners) don't care about you. The owners start off acting like they care about their employees. They take time to train you and they make sure you are comfortable, but after working there for over two years I saw all the cracks. Lets first talk about how they get guests in the restaurant. The hosts are trained to keep every table in the house full. If a table is empty for a "long" time (30 min or less) that means you are not doing your job correctly. The owner has been known to hover over the host pressuring them to seat more. But when the host does and reservations get mad because they don't have a table, the host is to blame. When you are sick and call out there is pressure for you to find someone to cover, and if you don't they will find a way to write you up of course it won't be for calling out, but maybe performance instead. Family meals, they don't even know what those are. Over seating in your section, well of course! Force you to work both locations without getting overtime, duh! They don't care about you all they care about is getting in as many people as they can. The owners expect way too much from management. If you are a manager you can never unplug, and you always will be held accountable for things that are out of your control. I have seen people working for that company for over 7 years get treated like they were nothing. They don't care if you are loyal to them or not. If you for one instant do anything they don't like they will fire you.
