Pros
-Fairly simple job -short shifts if that is your thing (I listed this as a con as well) -good job for student, retired, someone just needing part time work around 10-15 hours a week
Cons
-wages frozen at minimum wage unless you advance to assistant manager or manager -4 hour shifts for cashiers making you work many days for little hours -cashiers aren't normally supposed to get over 15 hours per week but sometimes get more sometimes less -Dollar Tree expects your devotion yet doesn't give someone enough hours to make ends meat -Holiday pay for new employees is not good - no 401 k for part timers -insurance is offered after so long but you get so few hours you can't afford it -worst retail joke I mean job I've ever worked - no team spirit - no one cares attitude because most employees get so few hours and are paid so little - some ridiculous policies that I won't go into to - I've never ran across anything like it in retail. This company is all about the money and could care less about people more so than any other retailer I've came across.
