Pros
Growing company is pushing to do things that are different than the status quo. This is not a startup company, but it is in fast paced operation to turn some acquired companies around and really grow. I think the company does have big opportunities ahead if they are executed well and the foundation is made strong. It has the feel of a young startup, but has a large amount of business with its core company, and much room to grow that business as well as turn new businesses around that failed in the past. It would be an achievement to do!

I was offered a position with another company that was closer to my home and life, however just before I left there were a few employees that were caught doing some very shady, truly illegal things and caught red handed. It was very interesting to be reading what seems to be 1 or 2 of those employees that were terminated before I left, who I heard from old co-workers are being taken to court, that seem to be posting here on GD. I was surprised to see the anger, slander, and racism posted right out there in the open! Not sure what GD wants to do about that, but I guess "anonymous" is anything goes! Also not sure how someone would get tax information from any government agency who is not a formal representative of the company and claim all the things posted about this company. Good Lord, you can't even get a license these days without spending half a day in a government run DMV, how in the world would these people ever get, any information?! I had no issue with my tax filings from this company.? Simple business knowledge is that, businesses pay these things quarterly, or on a schedule.. not every check to employees, so how would anyone get that information?! But again "anonymous" apparently can make any claim, regardless of common sense. In any case, I guess what seems to be 1 or 2 people are apparently quite mad for being fired for theft, and CC fraud themselves (ps- their termination dates are awfully close, OK, more than suspiciously close; less than a week after, from the time of these negative posts on GD). But whatever not my deal, I only write this because it was not what I saw or experienced, and I don't believe that any business should suffer because of some of "those people" who think life should be carved out on a silver platter for them, and that "they" are the "exception to the rule" in bending or breaking the rules, but it's never THEIR fault. Its always someone else...blame, accuse, hate.. In any case, I had an overall good and decent experience there; challenging and growing, true- it was loose on structure yes, but I overheard some of the changes that were to come and they all lined up to a good growth path ahead from my perspective. I've worked for other companies trying to really become a business before in my career, and this one is no different with a company trying to "grow up" and really make the suit fit. So if your a person that has to have all your T's crossed and don't get excited about where the future is headed and it has to be ready now for you, it may not be the ideal environment for you. But if you like the feel and action of really building and transitioning from a small business to a legitimate company with the potential growing pains that may go with it along the ride, then this is a good spot to spread your wings. I don't judge a book by the cover, and for those of you out there that do... you may want to consider the "cover" of some of these horrible reviews.. I didn't realize the "devil" was truly on earth..
