Pros

Sorry but there are no pros to working here. If you're interviewing with this company you should be weary considering they've had rounds of layoffs in the past 2 months alone.

Cons

Here's a list of things that have happened in the time I've worked at this company. Upon being hired I was promised: $1000 relocation bonus to move to Austin $1000 vacation bonus 401k Health and Dental insurance Cell phone and gym membership paid Yep, did not receive a SINGLE one of those things. This is one of the most dysfunctional and dishonest companies I have ever worked for. If you're a white male who happens to be friends with one of the executives or investors with little to no experience in the industry then a 6 figure salary is waiting for you. If you're female, you can expect to receive a low ball salary (in comparison to what the men make) and you can deal with sexism on a DAILY basis. Oh and if you complain about the sexism you'll just get made fun of behind your back and deemed a nagging feminist by all the men who work there. This doesn't even touch on the racist and homophobic remarks made regularly by the executives either. You should ask about their lawsuits. They have tons of them! Distractify is a company that has no idea what it wants to be and depends on its lower level staff to come up with their brand and vision. They blame their inconsistency and lack of vision as "lol start up problems!" but I think that the company is just a group of rich white men who happened to find their way into the company at the right time but no one here actually has any experience in writing, editing, or publishing. NO ONE. Except some of the lower level employees they treat like garbage and don't respect.
