When you get into the assistant manager positions you work long hours, anywhere from 47.5 to 55 hours per week. You will work 5 days per week from 7:45 to 6-7pm every day for the most part. The company says that they are a family oriented business but you do not get very much time at home with your family (because of the 50+ hours per week). Ever since Bruce Halle passed, the company has changed from a “family company” to a very numbers driven company, that is the only thing that the stores are focused on anymore. The starting pay for a Sr Assistant Manager should be raised (since you are running the store half the time).
