Pros

Apart from the management (VP level), there are nice and pleasant people who work there trying to create a positive atmosphere.

Cons

Management is obtuse, business objectives dumb and not aligned with available resources: no pre-sales, no lead generation, no marketing and limitless processes on Salesforce besides Excel sheets. Obligation to follow their sales methodology under penalty of being sanctioned by your management. Uninteresting work: 70% of the time on SDFC (accounts, leads, opp., pricing, contracts, emails, agenda, notes,...). Only small arrangements, internal politics and pitiful management. Poor integration and no training of new hires.

Diligent Response

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. We certainly agree that our people are what make Diligent a great place to work. We are sorry to hear your other feedback – in particular, around the strategic vision for our organization, which is hinged on driving the greatest possible impact for our clients through best-in-class GRC and ESG solutions on one unified platform. This vision has underpinned all our business activities, including our acquisitions which we are intensely focused on integrating as smoothly as we can. To your point around training, in fact, one of our top priorities continues to be investing in onboarding, as well as training and enablement, to set up all of our teams – including our valued Commercial team members – for success. If you have specific suggestions on ways that we can improve and better support you, I hope you will consider speaking with your manager or ELT member if you have not yet already. Please feel free to email us anonymously at HRconfidential@diligent.com so we can be more responsive to all of your particular concerns. Thank you again. - Avigail Dadone, Chief People Officer

Pros

Decent pay, unlimited PTO and good benefits

Cons

Leadership will tell you want you want to hear to keep you focused on being a BDR instead of helping you get promoted. Majority of AE type roles are not posted internally and do a ton of external hiring instead of promotions.
