Pros

I love working at Devereux. There is a lot of wonderful leaders that are excited to see you grow in your day to day. There are many opportunities to learn and advance. They have a program where you can receive tuition reimbursement. The administration is focused on the services they provide and all feedback is welcome. You can ask many questions and everyone is happy to help. A welcoming environment with servant leadership!

Cons

Every job has its cons but I wouldn't say there are much here. Devereux has several locations so you may travel a lot, if that is not something that works for you.

Being a Direct Support Professional is fulfilling because you make a real difference and grow personally. It often offers flexible hours and strong relationships, with varied tasks that keep the job interesting.

Cons

Being a Direct Support Professional can be tough. It's emotionally stressful and physically demanding and limited chances for promotion. Plus, there can be a lot of paperwork.
