Pros
DB's people are top-notch and are known to be at the cutting edge of the markets and derivatives. The atmosphere is competitive and aggressive. Compensation is not what is used to be, even for top performers.
Cons
The industry changes, including capital requirements, cutting of derivative trading and credit appetite have hit hard at the spots where DB used to excel. Work has become more plain vanilla and commoditized (boring).
