While I understood my day-to-day responsibilities and had a long-term plan in place, the goals set were unrealistic, with little guidance to achieve them.
The systems are very long winded, confusing and unnecessary. It takes months to get to grips with them.
As time went on, communication from management became increasingly quiet, and without any clarity or feedback, while at the same time I was pushed to deliver more and faster. My monthly review was cancelled and I was then abruptly let go. The situation felt very poorly managed and handled without transparency and respect.
Management seems focused on making an impression rather than building stability. Some teams are very new, and there’s a lack of clear direction about what’s actually needed - and knowledge about what the company actually does.
The company would benefit from investing in staff development and understanding that long-term results come from supporting people, not expecting instant performance.
This was, by far the most jarring and disappointing experiences I have ever had in a work place.
