Cons

People in the company look down on support staff, don’t provide genuine support to others. Minimum wage for this role is not enough, the job is extremely challenging as some of our clients require attentions constantly and some pose a risk. Require more staff to be employed to make up for the shortfalls in service quality.

Friendly working environment. Deepdene Care is a wonderful place to work. My job based me at Head Office in Solihull however I went out to all the homes many times, The staff at the homes are friendly, caring with a positive goal of making the homes the best possible place for the residence. Head Office support the homes with an understanding of their needs and hard work. They ensure the homes run smoothly. I enjoyed my time at Deepdene and would highly recommend anyone that is looking to work in the care sector consider Deepdene.

Cons

Occasionally the volume of work can be overwhelming, I felt the salary did not match the job.

This was an organisation that truly tried its best in the covid pandemic, had to leave for personal reasons but appreciated the unique challenges working with this provider brought me, enabling me to succeed in future roles.
