Pros
Working from home and the flexibility are good. The compensation is also good for the role.
Cons
1. The expectations are super high. Many time the targets are unreachable. 2. As a SDR you are basically just a number, if you dont perform you will be on a pip and then out. Zero mercy. 3. They dont see you as a valuable member or try to invest in your talent but see you more as an easy changeable person. 4. Everything can change from one day to another, could be your territory, you manager, your segment etc. and it can happen many times within 6 months... so you need to be ready to adapt to change very fast. Its not the first time I work as an SDR so i understand the pressure of being a SDR but i was more happy in my previous companies and felt valued. There are many things that can be improved to make the employees want to stay.
