Financially stable, generally high level of competency among C-suite executives and VPs. Good strategic vision. Wide array of products, several interesting projects. There is some degree of meritocracy. Very good work/life balance. Crunches and overtime are rare. Great coworkers. Dental coverage and lunch tickets.
Cons
Big public sector corp with weak culture. Many silos and self-serving teams who shun cooperation. Disconnection between what they call product management and product development. Technical competency at lead/senior level is unremarkable. Some projects are executed sub-optimally. The company struggles to take off internationally.
