I can't come up with any..... I guess it was a paycheck...but not sure it was worth it. The online program E college was very robust and easy to use.
Cons
No raises for online faculty since 2008. Yet in that same time frame they increased class sizes by over 50%. No support from managers...I was once told to "stop following policies to increase your course evaluation scores". While the school purports to have good academic standards and policies the reality is they don't follow them. I was constantly pressured to look the other way when students cheated, plagiarized, missed due dates. In the end this lack of following standards was the actual standard...and was so rampant it completely devalued the experience and degrees of students who did work hard and were serious about learning. Unfortunately the result is that a degree from devry is worthless and carries no value. I've heard hiring agents make jokes about devry degrees and how they simply won't hire someone based on that. Students are simply seen as revenue and everything and anything is done to continue the revenue stream.
