Pros
A genuinely supportive culture where people care about each other and about students. Leadership is approachable and accessible, and communication from the top is transparent and frequent with town halls, videos, and email updates. This can sometimes feel like over communication but its better than the alternative. The CEO is very down to earth and regularly shows up in classrooms and invites ALL colleagues to events and to provide regular feedback, which is not something you see often in higher education or any corporate environment. My leader gives me a lot of autonomy and trust, which makes it easier to do my job well. Remote work helps with work-life balance, and the colleagues I work with are collaborative and mission-driven.
Cons
Too many meetings and a lot of good ideas but less people able to bring them to life.
