Pros
The people at Daylight are fantastic and make it an enjoyable place to come to work everyday. I’ve had the opportunity to work at Daylight for several years and it truly is a great place to work. If you’re curious about a certain project, want clarification, or just want to learn about products, processes, and design/engineering inside or outside of your role/department, everyone is willing to answer questions you have. If you’re interested in pursuing higher education, management supports you accordingly and considers your class schedule. Work-life balance is great depending on your role and the department you work in. The projects you’ll work on are highly impactful no matter what role you take on. Aside from usual benefits, I always looked forward to Team Building Day, the Company Summer Picnic, the Holiday Party in December, and the company “shutdown” (aka Holiday Break) between Christmas and New Years Day.
Cons
There really aren’t any cons except for maybe one - San Diego is expensive and home ownership seems to be getting further from reach.
