Pros

DayBlink is very unique. They offer great exposure to leadership and experienced Management Consultants. You will work directly with your Partners who have decades of experience from Accenture, Deloitte, etc. They also try their best to be flexible when you are overworked or are on the bench. They make sure you have access to the right training (as long as it aligns with what they want to sell) and they are a pretty fun group of people.

Cons

If you are not part of the inner circle, you will be on a slow promotion track and possibly pushed out. Career Progress there is prefaced in the right way as they note their good intentions in the right way. However, in reality, it is all biased based on your senior staff allies and who likes whom. The turnover at this firm, as a result, is atrocious - Partners and Staff alike. They have oversold me and continue to oversell incoming team members on their Ventures and Social aspects of their firm goals - this only makes me sick. Both of these silos are supposed to be built while the entire firm works 50-60 hours on client engagements, simply unrealistic.

Pros

DayBlink Consulting has a strong work culture, characterized by a transparent partner team and a management structure that supports a solid work-life balance. The nature of work varies depending on the project and clientele, but the firm’s size means that the range of projects may not be as broad as at larger consulting firms. However, DayBlink consistently works with Fortune 500 and other major companies, providing high-impact consulting opportunities. The strong management team helps ensure a supportive environment, making it a great place for those looking for meaningful work within a balanced structure.

Cons

Due to its smaller size, the variety of available projects may not be as vast as at larger firms, and staffing can be challenging. This can make it difficult to be placed on a preferred project, as resource allocation is less flexible compared to larger consulting firms.

Pros

The DBC Team is a family. Everyone truly wants you to succeed and everyone is invested in your personal career growth and development. Since it's a small firm, one of the greatest advantages is the one-on-one experience you get with high-level management - all of the managing directors/directors/managers and our CEO make themselves 100% available to DBC staff for anything - professional advice, personal advice, a casual chat about your favorite flavor of ice cream - whatever you need, they are there for you and will be there for you. Also, since DBC is quickly growing it's a unique experience - especially as a first career start- to get to see that and be a part of something that has a lot of potential to grow very large. They are also very transparent here and will let you know what's going on.

Cons

It's a major "pro" to have started in a small firm where instead of being little-fish #52,334 you are regular-fish #50 in a proportionally sized pond. However the tradeoff might be in the formalized training - this is how you are doing area. If you're the type that demands that from others than you'll be okay. But it's easy to feel lost or like you aren't doing too much from the get-go. That does fade and the important thing to do is continue to be diligent and work hard. This is a natural "con" from growing pains.
