Pros
For most employees- great schedule, decent benefits, fair pay
Cons
-Inconsistent application of policy among employees, will make use of benefits burdensome depending on person making additional requirements,
-will actively ignore requests for exceptions/accommodations and conspire with HR who they have codependent work relationship with for other employee issues, while allowing others the same exceptions who are not in any known protective classes
-some, not all management will isolate employees to control the perception of other employees while engaging in unethical behaviors
-will praise for work for months while you get the company caught up on a backlog of work, will not give any disciplinary action or conversations then blindside in a meeting with "unmet expectations" never previously discussed
-It was orginally explained this opportunity had a backlog of work, what expectations were which I met and there would be no advancement unless I applied for other positions. Then I brought the backlog up to date, maintained that work, had extra duties assigned that were not job duty specific from the whole team not just my manager. The manager for the role does not stay current on their duties and who held the position previously, it seemed they wanted someone more to do this job, get the workload current and maintained before eliminating the role. I feel now that this position was just filled to get them current and should have been described as a temporary position only.
