You wouldn't think it was possible given how dire it was before, but the company situation and CEO's behavior has deteriorated markedly in the last couple of years. If you talk to some of the very few remaining long-time U.S. employees, you will hear plenty of awful stories of unhinged acts. The Pune office has had its own sordid history as we all know. But the last couple of years have seen the CEO's unhinged behavior reach new lows. The rages and rants have become much worse. Mass firings based on nothing but impulse and then gloating about it. "Decisions" that defy any rational explanation. There is just about a complete disconnect from reality. Some of the emails sent out not company-wide have been so awful that you stop reading mid-way, if you can even get that far. I and some others just click the delete button. Even the long time CIO left, who had been there from the beginning of the company. Other people who had put up with a lot over the years, even they could not tolerate anymore. There was some sort of an HR, at least on paper. That left too. So have most of the clients. There are serious issues with this place, and not just professional ones. It is long past the point of repair.
