There's absolutely no legitimate work policy here: despite slogging all month, you're probably not going to get paid. - Associate Content Writer Das Writing Services Employee Review

Pros

A couple of the seniors on the team were kind and helpful, in my tenure here. Fellow colleagues could be really friendly, and I did end up being friends with a few of the people. Apart from that, there's not much going for the company. The office premises were good - wouldn't call it exactly plush, but they were okayish, given it's a new content writing company. That's about it I guess.

Cons

For starters, the work policy here is horrific. You need to write at least 3000 words per day, to get paid your full salary at the end of the month, and even then, there's very less to almost no work satisfaction. The directors rarely appreciate your work, and there are some very incompetent people who get to decide if your writing is good or not. New styles of writing are absolutely not encouraged here, and you could end up being vilified or criticised for even slightly deviating from the set pattern of writing, that the others follow. The directors, especially the founding members, have a sound knowledge of SEO, but sadly, not of writing. They just don't get how writing works, what's good writing and so on. Thirdly, they need to understand that great content isn't only about putting in a lot of keywords and SEO techniques. The work is mostly limited to a ton of finance and a lot of useless auto industry articles. At the end of the month, you're left wondering why you are never assigned any different kind of work. Sometimes, the management can get really deliberate when it comes to assigning work. For no fault of yours, you end up getting no work assigned, and that means a loss of pay. So out of 24 working days, it's likely you won't get work assigned on 2-3 days, and you are not paid for it. Even though you repeatedly ask the seniors to assign you work. The experience with my colleagues here was bittersweet, but the work hours and work policy are really damaging to employees' mental health as well. Also, if you plan to work here, be prepared to receive no formal resignation acceptance letter, or relieving letter or even a certificate. Basically, if you don't beg and grovel for one, your work experience here is going to the abyss.

Pros

The company offers a flexible and comfortable work culture. I particularly like the supportive team environment and the opportunity to work on content across different industries. Every project brings new learning opportunities, which keeps the work interesting. The feedback provided by editors and team leads is constructive and helps improve both writing quality and confidence.

Cons

Generally the targets sometime feels overwhelming and there is no forwarding of work to next day, so its a bit hectic

Pros

My experience working with Das Writing Services has been quite positive overall. The company allows writers to work on different types of projects, such as blogs, website content, and SEO articles, which helps improve writing and research skills. The team members are supportive and ready to help if someone has doubts about a topic or structure. I also like that the communication with the management is clear and tasks are explained properly before starting. Deadlines are usually reasonable, so they allow writers to focus on quality work.

Cons

building elivator takes too much time
