Pros
Stable position, with benefits. Work not overly hard for the compensation you receive. Union position so a certain sense of security comes from that. Overtime a plus.
Cons
Communication between management and workers can be poor at times. Some workers feel entitled due to being in the union for so long and it can cause rifts between management and workers.
