Pros
I worked for the Dallas Zoo on the guest services side of things for just a short time, but overall it was a good experience. My team was communicative, and the expectations of the role were clear. Because it's a bigger organization, they were also generally flexible with scheduling.
Cons
I really don't think I have many complaints. My only issue was that our schedules were posted week to week, sometimes with hardly a week's notice. My preference is to have two to three weeks out, so I know what to expect and what I can commit to outside of work.
