They work you hard. You work more than forty hours per week but don't really get that time back. Just two days at best.
Department management seems to undermine lower management regularly. I'm told I'll be doing one thing by my manager and minutes later I'll get a call from someone else that I need to go do something else. It doesn't seem like they talk much.
From my short time here it's clear controls is leaned on for everything. It seems like half the company can't do their job unless we give them all the data we put together in pretty little sheets for them. I do not know if they can not read or what but it puts a lot of stress on the more senior guys here.
If we have more senior leadership at the company it's not apparent. The other groups like project management and validation seem to do whatever on sites with no consequences. They are open about saying they just come out to have something to charge their time to. I don't see how leadership would allow that but it happens a lot from what I hear.
Growth seems to be fueled by a few people working really hard with lots of others just coming along for the ride.
