Pros
The only pro is that I am employed and, therefore, receive a regular paycheck and have health insurance
Cons
- Good, hard-working, knowledge folks are laid off without so much as a bat of an eye by management - Depressing work environment; most folks seem to be waiting for their layoff notice - One day notice if you fall victim to one of the many rounds of layoffs - No opportunity in sight for pay raises or bonuses - Company doesn't want to pay for anything, yet they demand the moon. They want full-fledged, brand new applications built without paying for training or providing an adequate window for construction. This is a recipe for disaster.
