Pros
They pay average, that's about it.
Cons
This is the worst company I have ever worked for. Everyone on my team ended up quitting. The problem is the owner, Charlie Ergen. He had a #2 lined up, and that person quit. So he brought over Hamid Akhavan from another company within the organization. We had a company wide virtual meeting to meet Hamid, and during the meeting Charlie gave him a few compliments and was thanked by the Hamid. Upon receiving thanks Charlie said, "I'd be careful thanking me, you may just want to keep quiet and take the compliment. I'm not known for giving compliments and if you keep talking I'll take them back". Every 6 months there was an all team meeting that used to have an employee comments section that Charlie could read and answer. The comments tended to be about how employees are treated by the company. Instead of addressing the issues, Charlie had the comments turned off. Make no mistake, if you work here you will be taken advantage of. They talk a big game about upward mobility and their culture, but their culture is the main problem. Because of how bad it is, everyone does the bare minimum. People will just refuse to relay information that you need to do your job, so moat of your work will be completed with incomplete instructions and data. This is a terrible place to work. My first manager got to the point where he was punching his laptop in front of the team, creating dents and breaks, because he couldn't get the business to give us what we needed to complete our work. It's obvious that the business straight doesn't care about anyone working for the company. They will walk all over you then demand that you say "thank you". It's insane. Not only that, but they're bleeding money and taking it out on the employees. Looking at team assignments it seems like they're preparing to move the entire IT operation to Guadalajara. So if you do get a job here, it's temporary. STAY AWAY!!!
