      Pros

      You can rapidly move up the promotion ladder if you are a good "Yes Man" or Brown-Noser. In other words, there is no good reason to work at DHL Express (USA).

      Cons

      A Senior Management team that is completely clueless & not from the transportation industry, German owners (DPWN) only know how to operate in a German environment, Regional Field Management style is "Management by Intimitation", extremely poor communication to employees, refusal to listen to front line & field management employees concerns/suggestions/ideas. And lastly, they are about to implement a major staff reduction in the US....possibly 90%.

      Pros

      Great compensation, benefits, and hours. Get to know many clients and businesses on route. Lots of exercise. Lots of alone time.

      Cons

      For some, the alone time can be very lonely. You are in a van or truck for many hours. Podcasts, radio, hands-free: get to love it. Sometimes logistics can be unpredictable. Delays, traffic, on-call pickups. You have to be very flexible and adaptive with fairly quick critical thinking skills to excel at this job.

      Get entry level sales position. The company has great benefits..

      Cons

      You will be calling 80-100 times per day for months until you get promoted but it’s a fairly easy job. Can just be boring.
