Pros

In my 30+ year career working at numerous Fortune 500 companies, I've never seen the depth and scale of team work that exists across DHL. People really go out of their way here to make each other successful and have an "I win when the team wins" type attitude. The leadership team really cares about the employees and that attitude comes through daily, via emails and the handling of the Covid-19 crisis.

Hiring is limited during the Covid-19 pandemic.

You are right, hiring new people during these challenging times is limited, therefore Deutsche Post DHL tries to keep people aboard if possible. It can happen that some entities are short of work and other have more occupation. Therefore it happens that employees from entities short of work are relocated to entities that need extra support. In this way we don't have to release people if not needed. We want to show our employees that we care about them also in difficult and uncertain times.
