Pros
Used to be the "One DENSO" mindset Used to be strong leadership Used to be inclusive Used to put the employees first
Cons
Over worked. Zero work-life balance. Unclear direction. Hypocritical behavior as Top Management and HR preaches inclusion but ignores employee voices when it matters and worse yet, divides the associates. Case in point is the return to work policy change. Middle Management made hybrid work experiments over months in order to get the associate voice for the company to make the policy. In the end the data was never reviewed or considered as "the company made its own decision". Also, most of the industry worked with associates to create an adjustment period for personal life balance (3-6 months for most). Instead DENSO gave managers 2 weeks to reorganize personal life at the end of school year whereas non-managers received 6 weeks to prepare. All of this is in thanks for managers who over the pandemic created remote work systems because the company didn't and managers who gave up bonus amounts to help the company give higher bonuses to associates. This used to be a place that cared about its people and treated people as the most valuable resource. Now it is a company that has turned its back on middle management level and appears to be passively-aggressively frustrating associates to have them quit. Sounds like a recipe for a company failing fast.
