Pros

In my 5+ years of working I haven't encountered any.

Cons

It's strange to me that this company went from 2-3 star yellow rating to an almost 5 star rating in just a few short months! If I didn't know any better I'd sure think that there was someone from DDN falsifying these reviews. I mean some of these review titles just reek of self gratification. "Human Resources - Making a difference" < that's especially funny since HR didn't help me at all when my wife lost her job to get her medical insurance! "Supportive Management & Team Members" < Wasn't there a review just before that stating "By-and-large there is not a sense that upper management is on your side" Found in 3 reviews? As someone currently working here I have been told multiple times that "it's not in there budget" to give me any sort of raise, but they can afford to pay yoga instructors and 3rd party companies to manage "Employee Recognition" programs. And as I stated before, there is most likely someone getting paid to write all these positive reviews also. Here's a couple of more accurate reviews "Very bad communication. Management doesn't treat everyone equally." BEWARE of this company, look deep into this glassdoor and you'll find the truth about this place. If you're a talented skilled worker then this is NOT the place for you, don't let their self gratifying reviews fool you. Hey isn't strange that there's suddenly multiple reviews a day for this company? ...weird.

We value all inputs and support Glassdoor's guidelines on the review process, which can provide some insights as to how the integrity of the submissions is maintained. It is recommended that you understand better the monitoring practices from Glassdoor to prevent coerced or colluded actions referenced from ever happening. For example, one review is permitted per year and per person. The reviews submitted are from distinct or different reviewers. Respecting others' inputs, especially those which are different should be encouraged. Celebrating successes is something which we applaud all employees to be proud of and share their enthusiasm to make DDN better! Why would anyone want to take these positive feelings away from them, just because they don't share in the same sentiments or have unsubstantiated doubts? Many of our employees have provided positive feedback to our employee programs such as wellness and rewards & recognition. These initiatives have shown to most employees that DDN cares in promoting their health and recognizing their contributions at work. We are committed to fostering programs which have long-term positive impacts for our current and future employees. Investing in our employees' well-being is not "fluff" and is serious business for us. Some clarifications on the budget and merit increase process. There are many factors contributing to what an employee receives in raises such as company and individual performance. Additionally, the budgets which are for merit increases/bonuses are distinct/separated from our employee benefits programs and cannot be used interchangeably as suggested. For example, the budget for our wellness programs can only be used for programs related to enhancing our employees' health and fitness and not for the purpose of cash compensation. We appreciate your 5 years of service with DDN (which is a testament to your loyalty when you have other employer choices) and hope that you can work through your concerns with the team. Let's try to focus more on the positive improvements and in making our company better!

Pros

There WERE great people who worked there. But wow, they are dropping like flies. “Unlimited” PTO

Cons

Benefits are weak, pay is way below industry for engineers. Leadership is literally ripping out entire departments from the top down.A VP is fired, the new person starts, the new person fires the entire team and replaces it with their own people. A person will be let go and days later the replacement will start. It has impacted so many departments and isn’t stopping any time soon. I’ve already seen it happen in Product/engineering, Finance, HR, Recruiting and other outlying departments. Most people I’m aware of are actively looking because they know the goal is to basically rebuild the company with all new people. It’s chaotic, it’s toxic, RUN!
